Our Method

The Build Sequence

Every project — new build or restoration — follows the same disciplined sequence, in this order, without exception.

01

Site Assessment & Structural Survey

We inspect the existing structure or lot, checking load paths, decking condition, and drainage grade before any work begins.

02

Tear-Off & Deck Preparation

On re-roofs, old material comes off down to bare decking, with rot and damage repaired before anything new goes on.

03

Framing & Structural Reinforcement

Trusses and rafters are set or reinforced to carry the weight of natural slate, clay, or concrete tile without deflection.

04

Waterproof Membrane Application

A self-adhering rubberized membrane is sealed across the entire deck — the single most important layer against leaks.

05

Tile, Slate or Shingle Installation

Finish material is hand-set course by course, with ridge caps, valleys, and flashing detailed as we go.

06

Gutters, Flashing & Final Inspection

Gutters and downspouts are hung to grade, every penetration is sealed, and a senior estimator walks the finished roof with you.

Privacy Policy

Roof Tile Services ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through rooftileservices.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using this site, you agree to the practices described here.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, such as when you use our contact form or budget estimator:

  • Name, phone number, and email address
  • Property or project details you choose to share (roof size, scope of work, service needed, message content)

We also automatically collect limited technical information when you visit the site, such as browser type, device type, and general usage data, typically through standard web server logs or analytics tools.

How We Use Information

  • To respond to inquiries and schedule estimates or consultations
  • To prepare proposals, quotes, and project communications
  • To improve our website and service offerings
  • To comply with legal, licensing, and insurance obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

How Information Is Shared

Submitting our contact form or estimator opens a pre-filled email through your own email application; that message is sent directly to us and is otherwise handled the same as any email you send. We may share limited information with subcontractors, suppliers, or insurance partners only as needed to complete a project you've engaged us for, and with service providers who help operate this website (such as hosting), under confidentiality obligations.

Legal

Return & Refund Policy

Roof Tile Services provides construction, restoration, and drainage services rather than off-the-shelf products, so "returns" work differently than they would with a retail purchase. This policy explains how estimates, deposits, cancellations, and workmanship concerns are handled.

Estimates Are Free & Non-Binding

Initial site assessments and written estimates are provided at no cost and carry no obligation. A project only begins once both parties sign a proposal or contract outlining scope, materials, timeline, and price.

Deposits

Larger projects typically require a deposit to schedule crews and order materials. Deposit amounts and schedules are specified in your signed proposal. Deposits are applied toward the total project cost.

Cancellations

  • Before work begins: you may cancel a signed proposal in writing. Any portion of your deposit not yet spent on materials already ordered or work already scheduled will be refunded within 14 business days.
  • After materials are ordered or work has begun: costs already incurred for custom-ordered materials, delivered supplies, or completed labor are non-refundable, and will be itemized and deducted from any refund owed.

Change Orders

Any change to the agreed scope of work after a contract is signed — additional square footage, upgraded materials, or newly discovered structural issues — will be documented in a written change order with any associated price adjustment before work proceeds.

Workmanship Warranty

New construction and full re-roof projects are covered by our workmanship warranty as specified in your signed contract. If an issue arises that is the result of our installation rather than normal wear, material defects, or unrelated damage, we will repair it at no additional charge within the warranty period.

Manufacturer Material Warranties

Roofing materials (tile, slate, membrane, gutter stock, etc.) carry their own manufacturer warranties, separate from our workmanship warranty. We will help facilitate a manufacturer claim where applicable, but manufacturer warranty terms and timelines are set by the manufacturer, not by us.

Refunds for Overpayment

If a final invoice comes in lower than amounts already paid — for example, if allowance items were not fully used — the difference will be refunded to you within 14 business days of final walkthrough and invoice.

Disputes

If you're ever unhappy with completed work, contact us first — most concerns are resolved through a follow-up inspection and repair at no cost under the workmanship warranty. If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, it will be handled according to the dispute resolution terms in your signed contract.
